I regretted it IMMEDIATELY!
Wow, I’m so glad to know I am not alone!
I got implants when I was 26, and increase from a small B to a large C/small D. I regretted it IMMEDIATELY! The pain at first was unbearable – I couldn’t even open a bottle of water without being in excruciating pain!
Within a couple of days the pain started to wear off, and I got used to them. I started to feel glad that I did it. Within a couple months my skin had stretched enough that they didn’t look like balloons anymore, and I had a blast shopping for new bras, and wearing low cut shirts.
Now, 4 years later, the feelings of regret have set back in. I would give ANYTHING to go back in time, keep my money and my real boobs! They were cute! They were small, but they felt NORMAL! I can't say the same now. I am convinced that everyone knows they are fake just by looking at them, and I dread revealing them to a new man.
Before you get the surgery, they warn you about some of the more “extreme” complications, like “capsular contracture” or things like that, but my biggest complaints are things that they never even mentioned! Such as: 1.) They "ripple" -- the right more than the left; 2.) I can't lay on my stomach without propping myself up with a pillow or else they feel like they will pop! 3.) In certain positions (like on my hands and knees, or even bending over to pick something up) they look REPULSIVE! 4.) I lost nipple sensation, and sensation in parts of the breast itself; 5.) The scars under my nipples are very noticeable; 6.) They do not feel good in the hand, if you squeeze them you can actually feel the saline shift -- like when you squeeze a water balloon, talk about SEXY, huh?
Ladies, if you are considering getting a breast augmentation, please reconsider. Unless you have had to go through disfiguring surgery or had a mastectomy or something, there is no logical reason for you to do it!
As for those of you who had them removed – good for you! I have an appointment with my surgeon 2 days from now to discuss doing the same!
I just really wish I had never gotten them in the first place… :-(
